This term our focus is on another of our values - Kairangi - striving for personal best. Each team will explore this topic in a slightly different way. We would love for all of our kaiako and tamariki to always be the best they can be.
This is always a busy time of the year as we prepare to farewell our Year 6 students and look forward to prizegiving. Our Year 6 students, as is tradition, learn formal dances and have an end of year celebration with staff and whānau. Our monitors travel to Parakai as an end of year thank you for all of their mahi.
We will hold our annual “Mayow Fun Day” - named after the previous principal Linda Mayow. This day is all about having fun outdoors - bouncy castles, water activities, swimming and games.
We will re-open the pool for swimming lessons and lunchtime swimming.
In the last week students will meet their 2018 teacher and classmates. Classes are put together during November so please see Kathryn Arbon or I if you have any placement requests.
As always please come and see us about anything about you child which you would like to discuss.
