Nau mai haere mai ki Term 3 2018
This term we have an arts focus. Our whakatauki is Kia kawea tātou e te rēhia..
Let us be taken by the spirit of joy, of entertainment. At the end of the term each team will put on a performance for whānau to show what they have learnt. Our kapa haka, Samoan group and choir will also be performing.
The school being organised in whānau areas continues to work well. Our seniors are really showing our school values of manaakitanga and whanaungatanga in an authentic tuākana/tēina setting.
Students are encouraged to show manaakitanga and whanaungatanga. Ako - teaching and learning is always at the heart of all that we do at our kura. Another of our values that is encouraged is Kairangi. Kairangi means that we strive for excellence in all that we do. We aim to be the best we can be.
Our overarching theme this year is Kairangi and it applies to all of us in this kura. We want the very best learning outcomes for your tamariki and welcome you in to help us achieve this.
