Once again, the year has started brilliantly with teachers and children settling into their work with no fuss and bother but plenty of enthusiasm.
We welcome our new staff and families and know that they will already be feeling part of the Glen Eden Primary School community.
We have a very busy term planned. In February we have a fun picnic and pool night and a more formal ‘Meet the Teacher’ night. Early in March we welcome the Education Review Office Team who will confirm that we work in a fabulous environment and are doing great things for kids. Later in March, parents will have the opportunity to learn about the Jolly Phonics programme that the teachers studied during the holidays. And all the while the pupils will be having fun and learning, learning, learning.
Of course, there is also our newly painted swimming pool to enjoy and the sports, Arts and environmental programmes that are all part of the way we do things at Glen Eden Primary.
This very proud Principal says, “Go Glen Eden! You rock!”
